Itinerary

  • Arrive in Srinagar and freshen up.
  • Local Sightseeing: Visit the Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure), built by Asif Khan, the brother-in-law of Emperor Jahangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) located on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background.
  • Also visit Cheshmashahi and the Botanical Gardens.
  • Distance from Srinagar to these gardens is approximately 12 to 15 km. En route, visit a carpet weaving factory.
  • Overnight Stay: Hotel accommodation.

  • After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold).
  • Enjoy one of the most scenic drives from Srinagar, stopping at beautiful spots along the way.
  • Sonmarg is situated at an altitude of 2,740 m above sea level.
  • Optional: Horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier (additional cost), where snow remains year-round.
  • Sonmarg is known as the Gateway to Ladakh.
  • In the evening, return to Srinagar.
  • Dinner and Overnight Stay: Reserved hotel.

  • After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, known as the “Meadow of Flowers” and one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the Valley at approximately 8,700 ft.
  • Explore the famous golf course (in summer), the highest and largest 18-hole course in the world, and enjoy skiing during winter.
  • Local Sightseeing: Take in the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains.
  • Optional: Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg (additional cost).
  • Dinner and Overnight Stay: Reserved hotel in Srinagar.

  • After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds” at approximately 7,200 ft.
  • En route, visit the world-famous saffron-growing fields and the Awantipura Ruins (9th century).
  • Pahalgam is also famous in the Indian film industry.
  • Enjoy local sightseeing in Pahalgam, including trekking routes and base camp for Amarnath pilgrimages.
  • Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari.
  • In the evening, return to Srinagar.
  • Dinner and Overnight Stay: Deluxe houseboat accommodation.

  • After breakfast, depart for Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
